Mod: Iron Man

«Iron Man Add-on» - adds the iconic comic book and Hollywood blockbuster hero to Minecraft, deftly protecting Earth from any villains, while having long been a "genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist". Such an outstanding character is capable of easily changing the familiar environment in the sandbox and giving virtual adventurers the ability to fly freely around the map and use non-standard equipment…

How It Works

The developers of the mod pack recommend starting the immersion into the superhero atmosphere by building a special power gantry, which unlocks access to new recipes required to assemble the armor.

In addition to the unusual workbench, you will also need Vibranium ingots—a fictional metal that in Minecraft is smelted from 4 diamonds, several iron ingots, and netherite ingots.

Arc Reactor

Iron Man's personal invention, widely featured in both movies and comics. Using the energy distributed by the arc reactor, many armor elements are powered (including gauntlets and weapons used in combat), while also providing protection for the protagonist. The reactor is attached to an empty inventory slot – in the "leggings" compartment.

Suit and Controls

Thrusters and Glider

The ability to take off vertically and move freely around the map in the mod pack will only appear for those who have fully assembled the entire suit on the power gantry – that is, smelted about fifty Vibranium ingots, crafted a mask and a full protection set, and prepared the arc reactor for operation. If every inventory slot is filled and the protagonist looks like Iron Man, the final touch is to press the jump button and then sneak (must be done in mid-air!).

If extra equipment like Elytra is used alongside the yellow-and-red suit, the character will change their appearance and start gliding above the ground, reducing their speed.

And it is better not to mess up the controls – pressing "Jump" will stop such a flight immediately – and with a loss of health points as well…

Control Gauntlet

Along with flight capability, the suit in the mod adds weapons to the hotbar. For instance, the control gauntlet fires bursts of light at enemies, dealing energy damage without requiring ammunition (the energy generated by the reactor is sufficient).

Among the unique features of the gauntlet is an advanced targeting system that automatically finds targets to attack. This targeting mechanism is activated while sneaking.

Minigun

The minigun in the mod pack fires in bursts (fire rate – 0.1 shots per second) and can unload an entire magazine in a few seconds if desired (holds 60 rounds). The weapon is available only if the full armor set is equipped and the reactor is in the leg slot.

Additional requirements include ammo packs that need to be crafted on a workbench and added to the inventory or hotbar for reloading.

Homing Missile Gauntlet

The power station is also used to craft gauntlets that fire missiles, which automatically seek targets and partially destroy surrounding terrain (explosion radius – 4 blocks).

Manual aiming is also available – simply sneak and wait for a special crosshair to appear on the screen.

Mark I Flamethrower

The modification also includes advanced Mark I gear, which transforms the superhero's appearance and adds the ability to use a flamethrower, burning blocks and enemies in your path.

Before using the flamethrower, you must prepare a special fuel tank, which is not consumed during use but is required to inflict damage.

Wartime Minigun

A legendary weapon with an increased magazine capacity and exceptionally high rate of fire. A true exclusive available after assembling the special Mark 001 suit.

Suit Comparison

The mod pack features over 30 armor sets with carefully balanced stats and specific capabilities that significantly impact gameplay.

  • Mark I. 10 defense points, limited ammo, and a complete restriction on minigun usage (however, a flamethrower will appear in your inventory).
  • Mark II. 12 defense points, partial resistance to Knockback (30%).
  • Mark III. 15 defense points, partial resistance to Knockback (40%).
  • Mark IV. 16 defense points, partial resistance to Knockback (50%).
  • Mark V. 14 defense points, restricted minigun usage.
  • Mark VI. 17 defense points.
  • Mark VII. 18 defense points.

Iron Legion

Starting with Mark XIII and LXII suits, the mod pack introduces the ability to use armor built on the power gantry as an automated defender. It will follow players, protect them from enemies (using repulsors), and even pick up scattered resources.

This special defense mode is activated using a microchip that must be placed on the hotbar and used while sneaking (in some cases, you will also need to place components of the suit that will act as the combat defender into your inventory).

  • Mark VIII. 17 defense points.
  • Mark IX. 17 defense points.
  • Mark X. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XI. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XII. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XIII. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XIV. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XV. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XVI. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XVII. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XVIII. 17 defense points. An upgraded suit version that deals more damage – the control gauntlets will start breaking blocks in a 3x3 area while literally scorching unsuspecting enemies.
  • Mark XIX. 17 defense points.
  • Mark XX. 18 defense points. Starting from Mark XX, you will no longer need to constantly swap the arc reactor in your inventory – suits now feature their own thrusters.
  • Mark XXI. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXII. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXIII. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXIV. 18 defense points. An upgraded suit version that deals even more damage – control gauntlets start breaking blocks in a 3x3 area while literally burning unsuspecting enemies.
  • Mark XXV. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXVI. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXVII. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXVIII. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXIX. 18 defense points.
  • Mark XXX. 19 defense points.
  • Mark XXXI. 19 defense points.
  • Mark XXXII. 18 defense points. An upgraded suit version that deals even more damage – control gauntlets start breaking blocks in a 3x3 area while literally burning unsuspecting enemies.
  • Mark XXXIII. 19 defense points.
  • Mark XXXIV. 19 defense points.
  • Mark XXXV. 19 defense points.
  • Mark XXXVI. 19 defense points.
  • Mark XXXVII. 19 defense points. The suit is enhanced with underwater thrusters that increase movement speed underwater (mode activated via sprint button).
  • Mark XXXVIII. 20 defense points. This suit is several times heavier than many previous versions, so blocks will break in a 3x3 radius beneath Iron Man's feet while running.
  • Mark XXXIX. 20 defense points. Starting from Mark XXXIX, you won't need to carry the arc reactor everywhere – built-in reactor engines solve flight completely.
  • Mark LX. 20 defense points.
  • Mark LXI. 20 defense points.
  • Mark LXII. 20 defense points. An upgraded suit version dealing increased damage – control gauntlets break blocks in a 3x3 area while scorching enemies. Includes armor-equipping animations (like in Hollywood blockbusters) and underwater thrusters for faster swimming (activated via sprint button).
  • Mark LXIII. 20 defense points. An upgraded suit version dealing increased damage – control gauntlets break blocks in a 3x3 area while scorching enemies. Also enhanced with underwater thrusters for faster swimming (activated via sprint button).
  • Mark LXIV. 20 defense points. Upgraded damage dealing – gauntlets break blocks in a 3x3 area and burn enemies. Features underwater thrusters (sprint button) and heavy armor weight that breaks blocks in a 3x3 radius beneath feet when running.
  • Classic Suit. 20 defense points. Upgraded damage dealing – gauntlets break blocks in a 3x3 area and burn enemies. "Classic" adds suit-up animations and allows even faster underwater movement, instantly gaining speed upon submerging.
  • Combat Suit Mark 001. 15 defense points. Built-in minigun.
  • Combat Suit Mark 002. 15 defense points. Built-in shotgun.
  • Iron Patriot. 17 defense points. Built-in shotgun.

Combat suits do not allow free weapon switching, so the minigun is available only on Mark 001, and the shotgun on Mark 002.

Armor Stand

A decorative armor stand might not fit the medieval vibe of classic Minecraft, but it easily adds futuristic style to workshops or sci-fi bases (pairing it with themed mods is recommended). Armor stands are fully automated – using special buttons, Iron Man can immediately change suits or instantly hang armor on the improvised mannequin.

Pneumatic Hammers

A special tool that instantly shatters blocks and speeds up resource mining in mines, the Nether, and the End dimension.

Vibranium Blade

An unusual weapon useful both in combat (increased physical damage) and during resource gathering.

V1 Control Gauntlets (Energy Beam)

An exclusive development by Tony Stark that uses reactor energy as ammunition and instantly vaporizes targets in its path. If used while wearing Mark 18, 24, 34, or 42 suits, dealt damage increases noticeably and many blocks shatter upon impact.

Unibeam (Reactor Energy)

An alternative version of the gauntlet beam that combines emitted beams and, with sustained use, detonates blocks at the point of surface contact. As with the previous item, Mark 18, 24, 34, and 42 suits add even more damage and increase the chances of blowing up half a biome.

Cruise Control

A unique feature that lets Iron Man hover above ground without gaining or losing speed, allowing you to deal with enemies hassle-free. This "cruise control" mode is toggled by sneaking while flying.

Ultron Sentries

A new mob that spawns in all biomes (and occasionally underground) after nightfall or in dimly lit areas at any time of day. Sentries move quickly, use repulsors in combat, and drop microchips, iron ingots, and Vibranium pieces upon death, which can be easily smelted in a furnace.
